Soulton Hall

Soulton Hall Fireside in Hall

Rooms in Soulton Hall

The four comfortable and spacious rooms in the hall are named after families connected to Soulton Hall's history: 'Hill' (1556-1760), 'Deakin' (1812-1880), 'Barnet' (1760-1812), and 'Twyniho' (before 1556).

Each has its own character with antique furniture and many architectural features - such as mullioned windows, oak floors (some sloaping), beams and panelling (with a seacret door) - dating back to the 1500s or earlier. These rooms are all en suite, and where beams alow, they have a separate walk in shower, as well as bathtub.

Carriage House Rooms

Across the lawn, the Carriage House has been transformed, and it now offers ground-floor accommodation with two spacious double rooms each with en suite spa bathrooms, one of which has an adjoining sitting room. With its own small, south-facing courtyard and open views across the fields to Soulton Wood, the rooms in the Carriage House are particularly restful. One of the rooms can be arranged as a double or a twin.

Soulton Hall Four Poster

Four Poster Room, Cedar Lodge

Standing in its own grounds, and situated just the other side of the walled garden from Soulton Hall, is the Cedar Lodge.

It provides an especially peaceful four-poster suite with views to Soulton Wood framed by ancient oak trees. This is a ground floor room with parking close by, and like some of the rooms in the hall, it has a separate walk in shower, as well as bathtub

Garden Rooms

Family accommodation is provided in a set of three rooms (two double rooms, one small sitting room with sofabed) - the Garden Rooms - with one bathroom and a hall way. Althought 2/3 bedrooms, these are alwas let as one unit; so, once past your 'front door' in effect you have a private set of rooms. These more modest rooms are in the Cedar Lodge, and a floor plan can be seen here; use back button to return.
