Cottage Tariffs 2008

Holidays in the cottages are, generally speaking, for periods of one week or more (running Friday to Friday). Shorter breaks are also available, on which see “Short Breaks” below. The prices listed below are per cottage per week and include VAT at the current rate (17.5%).

Heating and electricity is included, as is all linen, towels, tea towels etc. Guests in the cottages are also very welcome to use the facilities at Soulton Hall and on the Estate.

Short Breaks
Short Breaks of between 3 nights and 6 nights can be booked in the cottages at Soulton Hall. These can be booked at any time in the months of January, February, March, November and December (excluding the festive period), while at other times, short breaks can be booked within three weeks of arrival.

Early 2009 Bookings
Bookings for 2009, confirmed with a deposit by 31st. December, 2008 will be charged at 2008’s prices, subject to the movement of Easter.

Pets
Pets are permitted, subject to the owners’ discretion, in Ploughman’s Cottage at a cost of £20.00 per week.

Cots
Cots and high chairs are available on request at a charge of £10.00 per cot and £10.00 per high chair.

Arrival & Departure

Arrival and Departure days are usually Fridays.

Short breaks can, of course, start and end on any day of the week to suit you.

Your cottage will be ready for you between 3:00pm and 5:00pm on your day of arrival. Would you please come to Soulton Hall so that we can show you to your cottage, and ensure you are comfortable - we can also tell you where local shops are etc.

Please ring if you anticipate arriving late so that we can make different arrangements to welcome you and show you to your cottage. Please do not arrive early - time is needed to service the accommodation, to ensure it is ready for your arrival.

In consideration of guests following you, and those who will service the cottage, please make sure that you leave by 10.00 a.m. and that the accommodation is in a clean and tidy condition.

Due to the behaviour of a small minority of guests in the past it is necessary to state that you will be held liable for any unreasonable breakages/damages and/or for extra cleaning. Thank you.

Booking and paying for your holiday

Please Telephone and make your booking on (01939) 232786 this avoids disappointment should your letter be delayed in the post.

We will need a credit card number to secure your booking until your written confirmation letter and deposit arrives. The deposit is one third of the cost of the holiday. Upon receipt of the deposit we will send written confirmation of your booking. The balance payment will then be due ten weeks before your holiday starts. Bookings made fewer than ten weeks before the commencement of your holiday are payable in full at the time of booking.

Please make us aware of any special requirements you may have before you arrive.

Soulton Hall
Accommodation is also available in Soulton Hall; this may be useful for extended members of your party who may like to join you for a couple of days.

We look forward to welcoming you to Soulton Hall during your stay, either for a meal or just for drinks in the evening, in the cosy beamed bar so that you have the opportunity to meet other guests and enjoy your holiday all the more.
