SEASONAL CELEBRATIONS 2007
Join us at Soulton Hall for your festive party and enjoy some wonderful celebrations; whether gathering with colleagues, friends or family, you will enjoy great food and a warm welcome to the historic setting of Soulton Hall traditionally decorated for Christmas.
It is possible to see that your party dines in private, so that you can relax properly, and to arrange rooms for festive celebrations after dinner.
We invite you to consider which of the two following menus and styles of service is most suited to your gathering.
This traditional menu is for a distinctive yet time-honored Christmas celebration, encouraging guests to join in the fun of serving their meal.
With this menu, exclusive use of the Soulton Court building is assured for your party. Guests are seated around one long banqueting table running down the center of the Long Room with its impressively timbered ceiling.
Turkeys are brought to the table whole and are carved by a member of your party - one turkey between every six to eight guests. Vegetables are served family-style. Christmas Puddings are brought to the table aflame with brandy and similarly served in groups at the table with brandy butter. Coffee and mince pies follow.
The Longroom Menu
Treat your guests to a very special Christmas party with this elaborate menu in one of Shropshire's most ancient houses.
Dine at leisure in Soulton Hall's elegant dining room or medieval Buttery, and then retire to a roaring log fire in the Hall. This menu is also available for larger parties in the Long Room in Soulton Court, where exclusive use of the entire building is again assured.
