Event - 2020 Open Days at the Soulton Long Barrow
Our partners, Sacred Stones, host regular Open Days at the Soulton Long Barrow, the new monument we have been creating on our farm together over the last five years.
2020 Open Days
The ways these days work has had to be adjusted for now, and formal open days are ticket-only events. Tickets are FREE and can be obtained on Eventbright pages for Sacred Stones, which you can find here.
Owing to COVID risk management, you MUST have a prebooked ticket.
• Sun 06 September - this event is now full
• Sat 24 October - obtain tickets via this link once they are released
• Sat 21 November - obtain tickets via this link once they are released
• Sat 12th December - obtain tickets via this link once they are released
Please note that, to keep these events C19 safe we need to ask you to help us see they are attended in a responsible way.
This is explained in this video:
If you have a specific reason to visit the barrow away from the open days, please contact Sacred Stones on the methods below and they will work to accomodate you. Anyone may walk up to the barrow using the permissive path.
The second chamber of the monument was revealed to the public at a ticketed open day in June, and, for those unable to join that a video tour was done, which is below.
A further live virtual open day was held in May, and the video may be found here.
Online conversation with events.....
While this situation continues, we have run a few digital events with partners, some on the barrow's Facebook page. A selection of them is avaiable below.
