Home > Meetings > Soulton Court
Although it has been suggested that Soulton Court had a role as a medieval manorial court building, all that is know is that Soulton Court bears a plaque which says 1783 and has provided stabling for Soulton's horses. It has recently been transformed to provide exceptional meetings facilities.
Detached as it is from Soulton Hall, Soulton Court is a very quite and private location. You would be the only guests using this building.
Soulton Court has its own facilities - including a bar, kitchens and lavatories - independent of Soulton Hall. Having said that, it may be useful for you to know that Soulton Hall is only a matter of yards away, and can (and does) provide a welcome retreat from the business of the day.
The Long Room
The Long Room is located on the ground floor and faces south. It has five large glazed doors along its south wall, giving the room a cloistered feeling and providing abundant natural light and summer ventilation.
The Long Room has a stone flagged floor and an original timbered ceiling. It has a broad terrace with a lavender hedge and a view over the White Garden and across Soulton Hall.
There is also a breakout room in Soulton Court (the Corbett Room) and the possibility of further break out rooms in Soulton Hall itself if required.
