Neolithic Find
Cambridge archaeologists confirm a worked flint as a Neolithic find.
Over Christmas we found piece of worked flint on the farm here. Flint, geologically, does not originate in Shropshire. So we knew someone must have brought it here. As a result of the barrow project, we had meetings in Cambridge University last week and archaeologists have confirmed that this flint was has been worked into a tool somewhere around 5,500 years ago.
