Soulton Road: Diversion During Bridge Repairs
The 200 year old Soulton Bridge, worked on by Thomas Telford, will be closed for repair for 6 weeks from 03 September, 2018. Access is ONLY from Wem, and not from A49, during this time.
Updates to this project will come from Shropshire Council and will be posted here.

The bridge was worked on by Thomas Telford, but was sadly significantl damaged in an incident a year ago, which is noted in these tweets below:
