In Soulton Hall itself, four rooms are licensed for civil wedding ceremonies.
The elegant Lydia-Grace room, with an impressive carved fire place an oak floorboards, has a capacity for around thirty friends and family to share your ceremony with you. When appropriate, this room can be lit exclusively by candlelight. Other rooms licensed for a wedding ceremony in Soulton Hall are the Withdrawing Room, the Hall and the Buttery. Each of these has capacity for around fifteen guests.
Larger wedding ceremonies can be accommodated in the Long Room in Soulton Court. Soulton Court was built in 1786. It now forms part of a range of buildings which surround the White Garden and face onto Soulton Hall. The Long Room has a stone flagged floor and an original timbered ceiling. It has a broad terrace with a lavender hedge and views over the White Garden and across to Soulton Hall. The capacity of the Long Room is around 120.
You can, of course, arrange for exclusive use of Soulton Hall for you wedding.
