First things first: we want you and your guests to have the a fantastic, memorable and fun celebration!
We want to to feel at home, and we want you to have a distinctive celebration, hence our 'house party' approach to larger weddings, which has proved itself a sucessfuly way of making all your guests feel at home.
We are delighted when couples and familes stamp their personality on their celebrations, and for this reason, we stay well clear of 'packages'. Each wedding at Soulton Hall is unique, and we really do mean this!
Over many years we have developed, and continue to improve, a highly flexible venue in both Soulton Hall, and Soulton Court, a converted barn with ancient origins just next to Soulton Hall.
Our emphasis is on a relaxed and homely aproach to celebrations in an historic (''magnificent'') setting. We combine the full service of a hotel, with the special charter that can only be found at a true English country house .
Unlike fomal hotels, we have a distinctly personal approach, and remain a family home. Unlike many private venues, we have an experianced team who will work personally on your clebrations, and are fully equpied with all the glasses, charis tables, napkins, glasses etc etc so there are no pesky hire charges -- a hidden surprise even at some hotels.
We have seven public rooms, four of which are in Soulton Hall itself, with the remainder in Soulton Court.

The rooms in Soulton Court are ideal for larger celebrations, as several of the rooms link together, and benifit access to a huge 35 meter terrace (marquees can go here inxpensively).
Recent work has established a covered drift house linking into Soutlon Court; this is a convenient heathed and convered outside space, part of the traditional building, where BBQs can confidently arranged without fear of the weather (we held a sucessful 'outside' BBQ in a blizzard in January). Our rooms do not have designated functions, so you are welcome to find thier best use for your celebrations: if you need a creche or separate rooms for special cultural observances: no problem!.
