Outdoor Theatre
Partly as a response to the Covid-19 situation, which has threatened live performance and theatre especially, and partly as an extension of work going on over the last five years to establish an imaginative ritual landscape in part of our farm, summer 2020 saw us rushing to bring in an emergency theatre.
We did this to support live performance safely in circumstances where we have all found ourselves needing to adapt. Below is coverage of this work on BBC Midlands.
A farmer from Shropshire is building an outdoor amphitheatre on his land, in the hope it can stage performances while traditional theatres remain closed, due to the pandemic. Tim Ashton's confident the structure will be ready to use next month. âž¡ï¸ https://t.co/g1rnQue6vx pic.twitter.com/q5wDSZlSM4
