Soulton Mound 

The long history here has left behind some archaeological features in the landscape of our farm. The Norman Castle mound, site of the hall for three hundred years ending in the late 1300s is an particular highlight.

You can still see it close to hall -- this video shows it from above. 

The picture below is the view over the mound in the 1880s.

Our farm hosts at least 12 red satus birds, otter, kingfishers and water voles.
